I'm sure many of you have heard but just in case I thought I'd post a little something here about it. The popular children's toy Aqua-Dots has been recalled. The reports are scary.... they may possibly contain a DATE-RAPE DRUG!
The coating on the beads that causes the beads to stick to each other when water is added contains a chemical that can turn toxic when many are ingested. Children who swallow the beads can become comatose, develop respiratory depression, or have seizures. SCARY stuff right? And where were they made? CHINA... big suprise right? Hmm.. just another reason to buy Handmade this year!
